We all have our favorite four-legged animal; for Giada, it's a tall, handsome, and dark horse named Pearce.

I've had the wonderful opportunity this past fall to photograph the Delligatti family at the horse farm and got to meet this very special friend of hers. These two have a special bond like you wouldn't believe, the affection Pearce has for his friend is just amazing to watch. His eyes are kind and gentle, expressive yet observant; his majestic silhouette commands presence and connects us with nature.

Giada expertly walked with Pearce, although there were a few spontaneous occasions when he tried to chew on some fresh grass and refused to budge. But somehow they continued to set forth and allowed me to capture these precious moments.

We concluded the session with the family photos, I think it's a perfect way to end the day. I have a feeling this duo will continue to be each other's company for many years to come.
