9 years of portraits

Gosh, we were all just babies when we first met! I remember Lauren and Geoff shared with me their wedding day vision; we talked about venues, flowers, dresses, colors, and the upcoming engagement session. Their May wedding soon has arrived, it was a magical day that kicked off this beautiful journey.

Time indeed flies without you realizing it. Five years after the wedding I've met them at our alma mater - The Ohio State University, as the backdrop for their anniversary photos. Like many Buckeye couples, it was where they first met. For a short brief moment, it felt like we have traveled back in time to our very first session.

Unlike the bride-to-be, it was a different kind of glow on Lauren when she came in for her maternity portraits last year. I felt like a proud uncle who is excited to meet the baby, we traced and revisited some of the same spots they were photographed in our studio garden. It was the same gorgeous weather just like what we had on their engagement session eight years ago.

Baby Nora arrived that summer! She is a perfect blend of her parents; although there were no words exchanged between us yet, but I think she knows just how much she is loved.
